Cookie policy

1. In short

The website only uses statistics cookies from Google Analytics, and only if you have said yes in the cookie banner. If you say no, no cookies are set. We use no marketing or advertising cookies.

2. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so it can recognise your computer, phone or tablet. The rules also apply to similar technologies, such as local storage in the browser.

3. Statistics (Google Analytics)

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the website, which pages they view and how they found us. The data is only used to improve the website — not for advertising or profiling. Statistics data is kept for 14 months. Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Ltd., and data may be transferred to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Cookies set when you accept: • _ga — distinguishes visitors (Google, 13 months) • _ga_0FYJFQJNLD — remembers your visit to this website (Google, 13 months) The legal basis is your consent, cf. Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

4. Your choice

Your yes or no is stored in the browser's local storage (tbo-consent), so we do not ask again on every visit. The choice is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again. This is necessary to remember your choice and does not require consent. To be able to document your consent, we also store a record of your choice: a random ID, yes or no, the time and the version of the banner. The record contains no IP address and is deleted automatically after 2 years. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted immediately.

5. The map on the contact page

The map on the contact page is only loaded from Google Maps when you click "Show map". Until then, no data is sent to Google. When you click, Google may set cookies and process data about you under Google's own terms and privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Your click is your consent, and you can withdraw it by deleting cookies in your browser.

6. Staff login

When our staff log in to the website administration, a necessary login cookie that keeps them logged in is stored, together with their language choice in the browser's local storage. This only happens for staff who log in themselves and does not require consent, because it is necessary for the service they have requested.

7. How to delete cookies

You can always delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings — usually under "Privacy" or "History". Instructions are available on your browser's website.
